Retina Detachment?

Does anyone who had the above OP have normal vision again?Retina Detachment?
It is possible to fully recover from retinal detachment it just depends on the cause of it in the first place and how soon after the detachment correctional surgery is carried out!
There are lots of reasons the retina can become detached, and some of the causes have more relation in relation to recovery than others.
Mine was caused by blunt trauma and has not made a very good recovery, but that is because of the severity of the trauma.
The success rate for this operation is very high, but the eyesight will never be quite as good as it was.
No, my peripheral vision is virtually non existant.
Just be grateful they can do something these days. At one time you would be Blind in that eye.....
