Prescribed Medications + Refill?

After being reffered by your regular General Doctor to go talk to somebody at a Metal Health Clinic, if they prescribe medication for you ... do you continue with you regular doctor to get prescribtions refilled etc??? or do you with the person at the Clinic??Prescribed Medications + Refill?
Depend's on If the mental health place is actually helping you,Be careful if they try pumping more & more med's into you,I have anxiety disorder,for 9!!!yrs. I was put on everything from parnate(an maoi)(old school,could have died if I ate cheese,etc!!!!insane!)to xanax,paxil,etc,etc,I could name them all REALLY!They thought I was Bi-polar,I was a genipig!!Now,Finally found right DR. after yrs. of stuper!On 1! pill,remerone,work's great for me.If you believe they are helping you, & you see result's , go to mental H. for refill's,if not,get another referral.
For refills, go to the doctor who prescribed it.
If you are seeing an MD at the clinic get your meds from them
you must go back to the prescribed medical doctor,.he will know how much to give you,.

let your regular know whats going on with you as far as a diagnosis and what meds you have been put on. Im sure he will want to know. As far as refilling your scripts, i would think that the doctor who gave them to you would be the one monitoring you and refilling if he feels you need them.
It depends on what their protocol is, just ask the nurse at either the mental health clinic or your Dr.'s office.
