My friend has been taking a drug called Centrine. I looked it up and it is for Dogs! Is this dangerous?

All the info. I could find on it is that it is used to treat nausea and diarrhea in pets. It is also a muscle relaxer... He's an idiot, but I am concerned...My friend has been taking a drug called Centrine. I looked it up and it is for Dogs! Is this dangerous?
If his doctor gave it to him, and his doctor's not an idiot, then it should be fine.
That sounds odd. It is possible that a medication for animals could be used for humans, but there are medications out there to help with nausea and diarrhea. Why is he taking the medication? Who gave it to him/where did he get it? Maybe try to find that out and it may help to explain a few things.
There are NO Formulations for this for humans. It is strictly for dogs and cats. Used as a muscle relaxer for spasms and as an anti-gas/intestinal relief. It sounds like your friend is digging into the dogs drugs which is NOT a good idea.
