as a baby she always felt the cold and her lips often turned blue is there anything I can do to help cure this problemMy daughters hands are constantly a red colour as if she was suffering poor circulation...?
That doesn't sound right. You should take her to the doc and have her checked out. She may need to see some specialists before you get the right answerers, but it's worth it!
I would get her checked out. My daughter had that and it turned out she had a blocked tube from her bladder to her left kidney! She had an op at 2 yrs
As a healthcare provider I would ask about being assessed for Reynaud's Syndrome...a reletively harmless syndrome but it would answer your questions.
don't know if this helps but here it goes, my daughter is the same when she is cold. These are extremities (hands, feet, face etc.,). try keep the main arteries warm, ie the wrists the neck and so on. I would still take her to get her blood checked, but in the coming few weeks try my suggestion.
I agree with the comment about Reynauds Syndrome, however cold extremeties is also a symptom of an underactive thyroid
