My boyfriend is sick, what can i do to make him feel better or forget the pain?

He can't eat or drink because it hurts for him to swallow (he has a hernia in my diaphram, and something the docs can't find) so i can't make him dinner or anything like that... and it hurts if he moves too much :( what can i do for him?My boyfriend is sick, what can i do to make him feel better or forget the pain?
I always make my boyfriend a get well (tender love and care) package... it includes his favorite movie, meds, soup, and a card... but since he can't swallow you may want to skip the soup... be creative... you may not be able to cure his issue but you can take his mind off it and show him you care... try a movie and massage oil and make him a noght or relaxation... that will make anyone feel better. Ibuprofen is a wonder drug for fevers. I woke up with a fever and sore throat today (I didn't really sleep), and 800mg of Ibuprofen knocked out the fever and greatly reduced the pain of the sore throat. Good luck!
