mono but the late stages of mono. So in othwer words he has had it for 3 months. I am 11 weeks pregnant and I am wondering if it could have affected my baby or anything like that. When I brought it up to the doctor he acted like it was no big deal. thanksMy husband has been feeling bad for 3 months. We went to the doctor and they diagnosed him with?
I would consider looking for a different doctor. Mono is highly contagious and can be dangerous for your baby. Talk to the doctor about your concerns, and if he blows you off again, find another doctor.
Edit:
When your doctor does blood tests, they are usually testing for something specific. For example, if your doctor drew blood to check glucose levels, then they're not going to see the mono virus because it's not what they were testing for. There's a specific test they would have to run to find out if you caught it or not.
do not worry be happy you are cool
I would rather have a Dr. who explains more detail and puts my mind at ease. I think you may not have it if Hubby didn't have a fever around you. If you get to feeling badly, ask the Dr. again or ask another Dr.
try going to webmd.com they have doctors there who will answer ur questions.
